ABA Certification
The American Board of Audiology (ABA), an autonomous organization, is dedicated to enhancing audiological services to the public by promulgating universally recognized standards in professional practice. The ABA encourages audiologists to exceed these prescribed standards, thereby promoting a high level of professional development and ethical practice.
Continuing Education
For members to obtain a full range of training, the Academy partners with its approved CE Providers to offer CEUs. The Academy records CEUs submitted by CE Providers as well as AudiologyNOW!® and eAudiology in the member’s record which is then available to members through the CE Registry.
Employment Resources
Learning about audiology as a profession, audiology's future, and the hiring process from both an employers and a job seekers' perspective. Use our resources for job search hints, candidate screening, and salary negotiations.
Meetings and Events
In addition to AudiologyNOW!, the Academy has added a new Practice Management Specialty Meeting, the Academy Research Conference (ARC), and the Jerger Future Leaders of Audiology Conference (JFLAC) to its annual line up of meetings.
Research
Research is the vital link between audiology's present and its still-to-be-discovered future. The Academy supports research efforts through the Academy Research Grants in Hearing and Balance for new and student investigators and through the Academy Research Conference.
